September 2009      As a Catholic inner-city school serving mostly minority students St. Michael's educational team assists each pupil to realize that he/she is a child of God, brother/sister to all people and a person with a unique vocation. Created in Christ's image we will seek to recognize the good in everyone regardless of race, color, creed, or gender. St. Michael's mission is to foster the religious, educational, emotional, physical and social growth of each student in order to prepare him/her for survival in a highly competitive and technological society. Thus the student is enabled to effectively contribute to the betterment of the same society, all within an atmosphere of respect and Christian love.
